Baseball players train for hours to develop the techniques and endurance they need for the season. They play hundreds of games one right after the other, but often the most defining moments in their careers come down to the one swing that sets a record. Wellesley fitness establishes a program that enables you to perform activities as you go through life, preparing you for those moments when hitting a home run is imperative.

It’s hard to watch an athlete run out of steam by the end of the game. Muscles need a continual supply of energy when they’re moving, and when the energy is depleted, the muscles tire and cannot function properly. This is what metabolism is all about – supplying energy for the body.

Stepping up to the plate and not being able to swing the bat or run the bases would never due for a baseball player.
